Valentine's Day Love

Happy Valentine's day everyone!  Valentine's day is actually my very favorite holiday.  I love a day that is all about spreading love and happiness and I will take any opportunity to wear hearts and pink and red together.
First some old business: I had promised that I would say how the recipes I tried last week turned out.  As expected, the Cheesy Burritos were excellent.  They were really quick and easy and actually very healthy.  I will definitely add them to my regular rotation.  The Mac & Cheese Spaghetti Squash was pretty good.  The recipe was very light and the flavor was good but a little mild.  I think I would try it again but add more cheese and butter and some bread crumbs.  It would still be healthy but would have more flavor I think.  One of my Valentine's traditions is bringing in a treat to work.  This year I made Peanut Butter and Jam Heart Cookies.
I really liked how they turned out.  They were delicious and easy to make and they looked super cute.  My coworkers seemed to enjoy them as well.  I also did a heart manicure.  I am not very good at painting my own nails but I decided to give it a go.  My cousin inspired me.  She paints her nails all the time and they always look amazing.  Here are our Valentine manis:

Another way I like to celebrate Valentine's day (and other holidays and occasions) is with beautifully wrapped presents and elaborately stickered cards.  I discussed my love of stickers here.  I don't want to ruin any surprises but I think it's safe to post this one since I don't think Jonas will be looking at my blog in the next four hours or so.

Here is his gift and card.  And Jonas, if you are reading, SPOILER ALERT, it's a train.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day full of love and lots of hearts!  What are you doing to celebrate?
