When most of the universe hears "DC" they immediately picture our nations' capitol. I recounted my recent trip there here. However, a tiny portion of the populace associates that familiar acronym with another, more local, DC; Door County, Wisconsin! This weekend found me in both DCs! Upon returning from my conference on Saturday I drove to Fish Creek to celebrate the birthday of my dear friend Jeremy.

For his 30th, Jeremy rented a lovely apartment at the Harbor Guest House in Fish Creek and invited a small group of intimates to celebrate with him. The apartment was directly on the water and had a beautiful view of the Bay. We spent most of the night playing games and having fun in the apartment venturing out once for dinner and drinks. The next morning we headed back early stopping for breakfast at the White Gull Inn. The Inn was totally charming and the food was delicious.

I spent the rest of the day relaxing, unpacking and getting ready for the week. It was a lovely trip to DC (and DC). Which DC do you prefer? How was your weekend? Did you remember to wish Jeremy a happy birthday?
Since I have never been to the East Coast DC I would have to say I prefer the WI DC :) and yes I did remember to wish our darling Jeremy a Happy Birthday! BTW am loving your little blog!
