Monday Night Love

My dinner

I know people usually hate Mondays but I kind of love them because I have such a fun Monday night routine!  I usually go to Zumba at 5:30 but last night I went to a strength class instead because I wanted to get home earlier.  I made Asian Pork with Noodles and Broccoli in the crockpot and then I cleaned the upstairs.  We ate dinner and then came the fun part, my Monday night tradition: Bachelor with Cher and Snack Club. 
I have been watching the Bachelor franchise pretty much since it started.  I have also watched every season of Bachelorette and even Bachelor Pad which is way more awesome than people realize.  Don't judge.  As explained here, Cher has three kiddos so I usually come over at 7:30 once they're in bed.  This way we can skip the commercials too.  Cher literally lives around the block from me so it's really easy to come over.  We snuggle up on the sofa in our jammies and watch.  When I heard Sean was going to be the next Bach I was not very excited.  I thought he was really boring on Emily's season but he has really surprised me.  He is probably one of my favorite Bachs ever.  (Bach is pronounced "batch" not like Bach the composer)  And from the very first ep I have liked Ashlee.  I think she is pretty and sweet and she really reminds me of my friend Linds in looks and personality.  Last night's show was awesome because Sean sent the worst contestant, the bratty Tierrarist, home in dramatic fashion.  At half-time (half-way through the episode) it is time for Snack Club.  Snack Club just means a healthyish snack we take turns making to eat during Bach.  Last night I was in charge of Snack Club.  I made air-popped popcorn and smoothies.  I had seen a recipe on pinterest for smoothies made with frozen strawberries and Crystal Light.  I don't really like Crystal Light so I made them with diet Sierra Mist instead and they were oddly delicious.  They tasted like strawberry daiquiris.  All you do is take a whole bag of frozen strawberries and blend it with almost a full 20 oz bottle of diet Sierra Mist.  Yum!  A successful Snack Club and a good ep of Bach = a lovely Monday night.  How was your night?  What would you make for Snack Club?  Were you surprised Sean sent Tierra home?  

I forgot to add, there is only one rule of Snack Club and it's not you never talk about Snack Club.  The single rule is you can not taste your snack until you are seated on the sofa and the show is started back up.  However, someone violates or almost violates this rule pretty much every week.
