Thank You Love

SPOILER ALERT IF YOUR INITIALS ARE SECD.  I've recently posted here and here about the new shoes my darling Sam surprised me with.  Growing up, the rule in my house was, any gift you receive from someone who is not there in person needs to be acknowledged with a thank you note.  This means that people who come to my birthday party and bring gifts don't require an additional thank you in the mail since I can thank them in person (although it's always nice to do so) but any gift that arrives in the mail needs to be acknowledged with a TY note.
I remember complaining about this as a child because apparently I was a horrible ungrateful brat but now I like doing it.  I know how much I enjoy receiving thank you cards and it's nice to take the opportunity to tell someone how much you appreciate what they've done for you.  I set to work last night to write Sam a note and tell him how  much I love my new shoes.  While looking at my cards I found this:
I can color WAY BETTER than this chick
I have had it since I was at least six-years-old.  I probably got it at the School House (or more accurately my mother purchased it for me since I lacked buying power at that age) and have used about half of it.  I decided Sam might like it so I chose and colored this picture for him:
See?
This picture is from The Tale of Tom Kitten, one of my favorites.  After writing the note (there was more to it than pictured above) there was only one thing left to do.  You guessed it:
The Cottage Pie I made for dinner last night turned out great!  I highly recommend it.  I also made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.  And I wanted to share two recipes I invented at work.  So, in the drawer in my desk I keep a variety of snacks.  Usually oatmeal, cereal of some kind, tea, and hot chocolate mix.  I also keep greek yogurt and milk in the fridge.  Anyways, I pretty much constantly crave chocolate so I came up with two different ways to use my cocoa mix aside from straight up cocoa.
Hot Cocoa Oatmeal
I use Quaker Perfect Portions Cinnamon Oatmeal, skim milk and Godiva Dark Chocolate Cocoa Mix
Microwave 1/4 cup oatmeal with 1/2 cup milk
Stir in one tablespoon cocoa mix
That's all!  So delicious.  It's also really good with walnuts and/or bananas
Office Chocolate Pudding
I use Fage 2% Greek Yogurt
Mix 1/3 cup yogurt with about two tablespoons cocoa mix
It tastes like super delicious chocolatey pudding
Do you have any special work snacks?  How do you like my art work?  How's your bracket going?
