I hope your week is off to a great start. This post is going to be brief but I promise I will make up for it later this week when I'm not quite so busy. I had a lovely, productive weekend. What about you? Friday I finally finished Operation Pocket Square:
the finished product
I am thoroughly satisfied with how it turned out, I think it looks awesome to tell the truth, BUT I am a little skeptical if it was worth the hours of labor I invested. What do you think? I also worked on and mostly completed my mom's Easter present. I know, super late, which is NOT my style. I forgot to take a pic but I will tonight and post tomorrow. I got the idea from here but did it with bunnies instead since that's my mom's fave. I also managed to repair a long-damaged Burberry umbrella using repair instructions I found on pinterest. Most importantly I made excellent progress on my closet organization project described here. Again, I promise to post pictures soon. I wish I would have taken before pics but maybe I will for the rest of it. I am very very fortunate to have a good sized-closet, actually two good-sized closets. Off my bedroom is a large walk in closet, through that closet is another even larger walk in closet and off that is an attic. It sounds weird but it's very useful in practice. The first closet holds shirts, sweaters, jackets and a variety of accessories. I went through the entire thing this weekend and got rid of lots and lots of clothes. It looks amazing. Yes, I will definitely have to share pictures. Now I am really regretting not taking before shots. The second closet which I haven't started on yet holds dresses, skirts, shoes, bags and a few other things. I also have a dresser which I haven't touched and several boxes of clothes in the attic which need to be processed. My goal is to go through every single item and get rid of everything I no longer wear. I want my closet to only contain pieces I genuinely like and wear. So far so good.
gratuitous Bucky pic to break up the huge block of text
I also had a lovely evening out with friends at Kropp's Supper Club. My family has been going here for 80 years and we love it. That was my weekend in a nutshell. Tonight I'm excited for DWTS and Snack Club with my BFF as we missed last week since I was in Milwaukee. I also have exciting news about my Oaks dress so stay tuned.
My favorite aspect of this post is the picture of Buckster!
